The present petition has been filed under Section 528 B.N.S.S, 2023 for quashing of FIR No.318, dated 22.10.2025, registered under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 3(5) BNS (Section 238 BNS added later), at Police Station Division No.5, District Police Commissionerate Ludhiana alongwith all the consequential proceedings arisen therefrom. 2.
During the pendency of the dispute, the parties have compromised the matter and filed the present petition for quashing of the afore-mentioned FIR.

Vide order dated 10.12.2025 parties were directed to appear before the Illaqa Magistrate/Trial Court and report with regard to the genuineness of the compromise was called for. TRIPTI SAINI 2026.02.10 16:45 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

The report dated 29.01.2026 has been received from Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Ludhiana stating therein that on 19.01.2026, the complainant Akash appeared and got recorded his supplementary statement to the effect that earlier he had made statement regarding compromise with the accused under pressure/threat of the accused. He further submits that there is no voluntary compromise with the accused. 5.
In view of the categorical report dated 29.01.2026 submitted by the Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Ludhiana, wherein the complainant has clearly stated that the alleged compromise was not voluntary and was made under pressure/threat, this Court is satisfied that no genuine or lawful compromise exists between the parties.

Consequently, the very foundation of the present petition seeking quashing of the FIR on the basis of compromise stands vitiated. Therefore, the present petition is dismissed. 7.
