Learned counsel submits that co-accused of the petitioner already stand acquitted by learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Phillaur vide judgment dated 22.09.2021 and when the FIR in question was registered, he was abroad as also there was no specific allegation against him, however, in compliance to the order passed by this Court, the order of proclamation was set aside and consequent whereto, he surrendered and was granted bail. He prays for withdrawal of the petition but keeping in view the fact that he is a senior citizen aged 68 years, the trial Court may be directed to decide the matter within a time bound manner.
