(Oral) The present first petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case bearing FIR No.171 dated 07.11.2024 registered under Sections 22(C), 21(A), 27 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at Police Station STF Mohali, Punjab. 2.

After arguing the matter at some length, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks withdrawal of the present petition at this stage.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn at this stage.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has just received an information that mother of the petitioner has passed away, he thus prays that petitioner be granted 07 days interim bail so as to enable him to perform last rites and ceremonies of his mother. 5.

In view of the prayer made by counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is granted 07 days interim bail commencing w.e.f. 26.02.2026 SUMIT SINGH GUSAIN 2026.02.25 16:26 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

The petitioner is directed to surrender on 04.03.2026 on or before 5.00 p.m. in the concerned jail.
