The present petitions have been filed by the mother-in-law and the husband of the complainant, seeking anticipatory bail in same FIR No.0019 dated 27.09.2025 registered under Sections 85, 316(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 at Police Station; Women Police Station, District Sangrur 2.
Vide order dated 25.03.2026, this Court while granting the concession of interim anticipatory bail directed the petitioners to join investigation.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from the investigation officer submits that the petitioners have joined the investigation and their custodial interrogation is no longer required. 4.
In view of above, both the petitions are allowed. The order dated 25.03.2026 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioners, is made absolute. However, the petitioners shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so by the Investigating Agency and shall abide by the conditions of Section 482 of BNSS, 2023.

However, liberty is granted to the complainant to approach this Court for reopening these matters if the petitioner-husband or mother-in-law creates any sort of discord, and such a request shall be considered upon submission of cogent proof.
