The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking setting aside of election result dated 08.09.2025 declared by respondents No.4 and 5. 2.

The petitioners are members of Indian Bank Officers Association. Respondents No.2 and 3 on 20.08.2025 issued notification inviting applications for election. The petitioners raised multiple objections. They claimed that they filed nomination, however, respondents rejected their nomination on the ground that it was filed after stipulated time. They served legal notice upon respondents, however, respondent declared result on 08.09.2025.

From the perusal of record, it is evident that there is dispute primarily between private parties. The election stands concluded. 4.

Faced with this, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the petition with liberty to avail any other alternative remedy as permissible by law.
