"# $%&Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking anticipatory bail for the petitioner in complaint case bearing No.DRI/ASR/855/(INT-06)(ENO-1)/2025 dated 10.11.2025 under Sections 8, 20, 21 29, 23, 60 and 61 of NDPS Act, 1985. The case of the prosecution is that from the baggage of Gurpartap Singh and Jaspreet Singh, approximately 48 Kgs of Ganja was recovered, which as in their conscious possession Learned counsel for the petitioner, on the other hand, contends that the petitioner has been named in the present FIR on the basis of disclosure statement made by his co-accused.

Ms. Sharmila Sharma, Sr. Panel Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-Department and submits that in CCTV camera installed at the airport, the petitioner was seen there while dropping the accused persons namely Gurpartap Singh and Jaspreet Singh and that the petitioner was constantly in touch with the said accused persons. Hence, the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much essential.
Heard.
In light of the above, no ground is made out to grant the benefit of anticipatory bail to the petitioner at this stage. Dismissed.
