As prayed for, the instant application is allowed. Learned counsel for the petitioner is granted leave to file the writ petition without Number of Roll of Advocate.

Through this writ petition, a prayer has been made for the issuance of direction to the respondent No.1 to decide the petitioner's second appeal (Annexure P-10), which has been pending since 17.01.2025, in a time-bound manner.

This Court, vide order dated 12.12.2025, had directed the learned State counsel to have instructions from the quarter concerned regarding the time required to conclude the proceedings in the petitioner's pending second appeal.

In compliance with the order (supra), the learned State DEVINDER YADAV 2026.01.20 09:35 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP-37169-2025 (O&M) counsel has informed this Court that the next date of hearing in the petitioner's second appeal is fixed for March 2026, and that all efforts shall be made to decide the same within one month thereafter. 5.

In view of the assurance rendered by the learned State counsel, no further direction is required to be issued. This writ petition stands closed. This Court, however, remains sanguine that the respondent No.1 shall honour the assurance given by the learned State counsel. 6.

Disposed of accordingly.
