**** JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J. (Oral) The prayer in the present petition under Article 226/227 of the Consitution of India is for issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing the respondents Nos. 1 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner is apprehending a threat to his life at the hands of respondent Nos.5 and 6 and therefore, he be provided with a PSO on payment basis. 3.

The counsel for the State, on the other hand, contends that respondent No.-5 Jatinder Sehgal has passed away. However, the petitioner can be granted a PSO on payment of usual charges.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with the direction to the official respondents to provide a PSO to the petitioner on payment of usual charges.
