SUMEET GOEL, J.(Oral) Present criminal writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus for seeking release of alleged detenue, namely, Harpreet Kaur wife of petitioner Rajesh Kumar from the illegal custody of respondents No.4 and 5.

The alleged dentenue-Harpreet Kaur is present in Court today. This Court has interacted with her briefly with the assistance of learned State counsel. She has specifically submitted before this Court that she does not wish to go with the petitioner and intends to stay with her mother and brother, i.e. respondents No.4 and 5, for the nonce.
