(Oral) The present first petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case bearing FIR No.583 dated 02.12.2022 registered under Sections 406 & 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Mahesh Nagar, District Ambala.

After arguing the matter at some length, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks withdrawal of the present petition at this stage.

Learned State Counsel has however apprised this Court that there are total 11 witnesses cited by the prosecution out of which 04 witnesses already stand examined. He submits that the prosecution shall make every endeavour to complete the prosecution evidence within a period of four months.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn at this stage.

The respondent-State shall however make an earnest effort to comply with the undertaking as aforesaid, made before this Court today. 6.
