  3/)/  ' ) ,       7* 8Learned Senior Counsel submits that name of the petitioner surfaced based on the 4th disclosure statement of co-accused, Jaiteg and Maninder Singh. The allegation against him is of having issued driving licences without getting the test conducted, however, his duty, as a matter of fact, was only to securitize the documents and Harkanwal Singh was supposed to conduct the test, report of which was to be sent to SDM. Thus, alleges false implication due to office politics. He is involved in one more case wherein he was falsely implicated way back in 2018, challan has wherein even not been presented till date and he stands granted anticipatory bail. He is ready and willing to join the investigation as and when required by the investigating agency and will cooperate.

At the asking of the Court, Ms. Gagandeep Kaur, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State. Meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation on or before 18.12.2025.
