The present writ petition assails the order dated 05.01.2022 (Annexure P-3), whereby the petitioner's application for grant of a permit on the Abohar-Amritsar route was rejected by the respondent No.3. The petitioner further impugns the order dated 13.10.2025 (Annexure P-4), whereby the appeal preferred against the order dated 05.01.2022 was dismissed by the respondent No.1.

At the outset, learned State counsel appearing for the respondents No.1 to 3, on instructions from Mr. Vivek Rathor, Junior Assistant, R.T.A., Bathinda, submits that the petitioner's original application, which was rejected vide order dated 05.01.2022, is presently under reconsideration before the respondent No.2-State Transport Commissioner, and an appropriate decision shall be taken within a short period.

In view of the aforesaid statement made by learned State counsel, the impugned orders are set aside, with liberty to the respondent No.2 to pass a fresh order on the petitioner's original application, after affording due opportunity of hearing to all concerned parties. 4.
