This petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 for issuance of directions to the official respondents for conducting fair and impartial investigation in FIR No. 139 dated 25.09.2025 registered under Sections 109 of BNS, 2023 and Sections 25, 27 of Arms Act at Police Station Sirhali District Tarn Taran either from some independent investigating agency or the investigation be supervised by some Senior IPS or PPS rank officer.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has preferred representation dated 13.10.2025 (Annexure P-2) but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.3- Senior Superintendent Renu Rawat 2026.01.14 17.19 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 6.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the prayer made by the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3- Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran, Punjab to take action on the representation dated 13.10.2025 (Annexure P-2) of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass an appropriate order.
