Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to release the pensionary benefits i.e. pension, gratuity, leave encashment etc. to the petitioner, due after his retirement.

Learned counsel for respondents No.4 to 6, at the outset, submits that gratuity, leave encashment and some other retiral benefits amounting to Rs.7.00 lacs (approx.) have already been released to the petitioner and the respondents are in the process of releasing all other pending retiral benefits to the petitioner and the same would be paid to him within a period of three months from today. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case the prersent petition may be disposed of in the light of the statement made by learned counsel for respondents No.4 to 6.

In the wake of the statement made by learned counsel for respondents No.4 to 6, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to release all the remaining pending retiral/pensionary benefits of the petitioner, if not already released, within a period of 03 months from today.
