Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage he would be satisfied if this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to take a decision, in a time bound manner, on the statutory appeal preferred by the petitioner to challenge therein the order of the District Revenue Officer-cum-Consolidation Officer, Hoshiarpur (for short-the DRO) dated 27.03.2023 and order of the Deputy Director, Land Records-cumConsolidation Officer, Consolidation, Punjab (for short-Consolidation Officer) dated 18.09.2024.

At the outset, learned State counsel submits that the aforesaid appeal filed by the petitioner against the orders of the DRO and Consolidation Officer shall be decided within two months. 3.

The afore statement made by the learned State counsel satisfies the learned counsel for the petitioner.
