On 14.04.2025, the accused were apprehended while riding a motorcycle bearing registration No. PB-25J-7872. The petitioner - Lovepreet Singh @ Lovy was driving the vehicle, while accused Sandeep Singh and Gurmeet Singh @ Bhatti were the pillion riders. A recovery of 554 grams of heroin was effected in the present case. 3.

CRM-M-72094-2025 - 2 - (Annexure P-3), was dismissed as withdrawn on 30.10.2025. Thereafter, the present second bail petition has been filed within a short span of about four months.

Though a written request has been made on behalf of learned counsel for the petitioner, the same is declined. Accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed at this stage.

However, it shall be open to the petitioner to file a fresh petition on the same cause of action, if so advised, after completion of 18 months of incarceration, in case the trial does not conclude by then.
