(Oral) Petition herein is, inter alia, seeking a writ in the nature of Certiorari, for setting aside the order dated 23.09.2025 (Annexure P-5) passed by learned Estate Officer, LIC, New Delhi (respondent No.2), whereby he has closed the opportunity of the petitioner to file the reply/written statement in the eviction petition filed by respondent No.1 under the Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1971. 2.

At this stage, Mr. S.C. Thatai Advocate appears and files Power of Attorney on behalf of respondent No.1 in Court today, which is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. He submits that he has no objection, if the order dated 23.09.2025 (Annexure P-5) is set aside and one opportunity is afforded to the petitioner to file reply/written statement in the amended eviction petition, however, subject to payment of appropriate costs. Keeping in view the aforesaid broad consensus between the parties, order dated 23.09.2025 (Annexure P-5) is set aside and one opportunity is granted to the petitioner to submit its reply/written statement to the amended eviction petition; subject to payment of costs of Rs.5,000/- to be deposited with "Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association Lawyers' Family Welfare Fund (Account No.41564846387, S.B.I. High Court Branch)".

It is further directed that since the proceedings are pending since 2021, learned Estate Officer (respondent No.2), shall make an earnest endeavor to conclude the proceedings within a period of 9 months from today.

The present writ petition is, accordingly disposed of in the aforestated terms.
