Instant petition has been filed u/s 483 of BNSS, 2023, for grant of regular bail to the petitioner - Manpreet Singh, who has been booked for having committed the offence punishable under Sections 420, 120-B of IPC [now Sections 318, 61(1) of BNS, 2023], in FIR No. 141, dated 11.09.2025, registered at Police Station Central Sector 17, Chandigarh. 2.
At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the petitioner has been acquitted by the trial Court, therefore, present petition has been rendered infructuous and may be disposed of as such. 3.
