The instant petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 (earlier Section 438 of Cr.P.C) has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.327, dated 31.10.2025 under Section 318(4) of BNS, registered at Police Station Division No.5, Ludhiana. 2.

This Court vide order dated 27.01.2026 granted the concession of interim bail to the petitioner, subject to his joining the investigation and directed the parties to appear before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court as it was submitted by the learned counsel for the parties that there are chances of compromise between the parties. 3.

CRM-M-72161-2025 (O&M) -2has also apprised the Court that the matter has been compromise amicably between the parties and placed on record a settlement agreement. 4.

Learned State counsel assisted by learned counsel for the complainant has stated that matter has been compromised between the parties. The petitioner has since joined investigation and that he is no longer required for further investigation as of now. 5.

In view of the above and in view of the report received from the Mediator regarding the compromise stated to have been effected between the parties, order dated 27.01.2026 is made absolute. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of.
