The petitioner through instant petition under article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking directions to respondent to correct name of her deceased husband in the Haryana Parivar Pehchan Patra Family ID 4PGC8151. She is further seeking benefit of financial assistance of Rs. 2,00,000/- as per DAYALU Yojana dated 09.11.2023 which was rejected by respondent due to clerical error. 2.

The petitioner is legally wedded wife of Late. Sh. Satish S/o Umed Singh who unfortunately passed away on 22.02.2024. Name of deceased is correctly recorded in all the government documents, however, respondent has incorrectly entered his name as "Satish S/o Maed" instead of "Satish S/o Umed Singh" in the family card. She applied for financial assistance under DAYALU Yojana which was rejected by respondent on 28.08.2024 due to aforesaid mistake in Parivar Pehchan Patra. Learned State counsel submits that Haryana Parivar Suraksha Nyas vide order dated 20.03.2026 has rejected petitioner's representation. The petitioner was supposed to approach respondent No.3-Haryana Parivar Pehchan Authority (for short 'HPPA') which is competent authority to carry out change/correction in the particulars of her husband. 4.

Faced with this, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that present petition may be treated as petitioner's representation and HPPA may be asked to look into the matter in a time bound manner. 5.

In the wake of statement of both sides, the petition stands disposed of with a direction to HPPA to consider present petition as petitioner's representation and pass an appropriate order within two weeks from today. The petitioner after passing of order by HPPA would be free to approach competent authority for claimed amount. 6.
