The instant petition under Section 528 of BNSS, read with Section 482 of Cr.P.C. has been filed for directing official respondents to take action on the representation dated 17.10.2025. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that a fraud has been committed against the petitioner, inasmuch as he obtained a loan of 36,00,000/- after depositing the requisite security and the amount was ₹ credited to his account, but on the very next day the same was transferred to one Ravinder Kumar. It is contended that Ravinder Kumar returned only half of the amount, while the remaining sum has not been repaid till date, resulting in the petitioner's account being declared a Non-Performing Asset (NPA). The petitioner has moved a representation (Annexure P-3), but no action has been taken thereon so far.

Mr. Anup Singh, AAG, Punjab, puts in appearance as advance copy of petition had been served to respondent-State and submitted that an inquiry had been conducted. As per the inquiry report, the matter pertains to a commercial transaction between the petitioner and another party, and litigation in this regard is already pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Khanna. It is further submitted that the representation was disposed of on 02.01.2026.

Keeping in view the contentions of learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent-State to furnish a copy of the outcome of the inquiry report to the petitioner. The petitioner is at liberty to avail legal remedy available to him in accordance with law.
