Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking anticipatory bail for the petitioner in FIR No.148, dated 07.11.2025 under Sections 109, 115(2), 126(2), 351(3), 191(3) and 190 of BNS, 2023 registered at Police Station Chhajli, District Sangrur.

The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner alongwith his coaccused have given injuries to the complainant and the petitioner has been attributed the serious injuries given by an iron rod/pipe on the right knee of the complainant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegations levelled against the petitioner are general and vague and he has been implicated falsely in the present case.

On the other hand, learned State Counsel submits that serious injuries have been attributed to the petitioner. He further submits that the petitioner is a habitual offender and is involved in five more cases. As such, his antecedents are not clean.
