Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner No.1-Amardeep Singh has been attributed simple injury with danda blow while petitioner No.2-Gagandeep Singh on the right leg and petitioner No.3- Gurcharan Singh allegedly bit the finger. Wife of co-accused Manjinder Singh, who has been attributed the injury on the right arm of the complainant, had won the election of Sarpanch, while mother of the complainant had lost. There is a cross DDR also registered on 19.11.2025, wherein petitioner No.1 had suffered a fracture on his left shoulder in the alleged scuffle. The petitioners are not involved in any other case, except petitioner No.2-Gagandeep Singh, who is involved in one case under the Mining Act. The petitioners are ready and willing to join the investigation as and when required by the investigating agency and will cooperate.

Notice of motion.

At the asking of the Court, Ms. Gagandeep Kaur, DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State. Mr. Narender Kumar Rana, Advocate puts in appearance on behalf of the complainant and filed his power of attorney, which is taken on record and made their respective submissions in opposition. CRM-M-72479-2025 (O&M) -2complainant has also referred to medical record, Annexure P4. Meanwhile, the petitioners are directed to join the investigation on or before 05.01.2026. In the event of their arrest, they shall be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer, subject to compliance of conditions as enshrined under Section 482(2) BNSS.

However, it is clarified that if the petitioners do not join and cooperate with the Investigating Agency as required by the Arresting/Investigating Officer, this interim order shall be deemed to have been vacated.
