(Oral) The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in case bearing FIR No.332 dated 29.11.2025 registered under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120-B Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Civil Lines Bathinda, District Bathinda. 2.

The matter came up for hearing before this Court on 22.12.2025, when the following order was passed:- "Petitioner, who is accused in case FIR No.332 dated 29.11.2025 registered against him, for commission of offences punishable under Sections 420,465,467,468,471,120-B IPC at Police Station Civil Lines Bathinda, District Bathinda, has filed the instant petition, praying for grant of pre-arrest bail. Notice of motion.

Mr. Kamalpreet Bawa, DAG Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State and prays for some time to file status report whereas Mr. Deepinder Paul Singh, Advocate puts in appearance for the complainant and filed his Vakalatnama. Today, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for investigation of the case.

Learned State Counsel on instructions from ASI Gursahab Singh, No.118/BTI, submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is not required for the purpose of investigation.

Since the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is not required, the present petition is allowed and the interim order dated 22.12.2025 is made absolute. The petitioner is admitted to bail on his furnishing of bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the arresting officer/investigating officer. The petitioner(s) shall also abide by the conditions as specified under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) of 2023 (VINOD S.
