Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking anticipatory bail for the petitioner in FIR No.0035, dated 19.04.2017 under Sections 307, 323 and 34 of IPC and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, 1959 registered at Police Station Cantt. Bathinda, District Bathinda.

Learned arguing counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, submits that the matter has been compromised between the parties amicably and both the parties have also filed a petition for seeking the FIR in question quashed.

Mr. Rishabh Singla, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent No.1-State and prays for some time for filing reply. On the other hand, Ms. Gauri Sharma, Advocate has appeared and filed her memo of parties on behalf of respondent No.2. She admits the factum of compromise having been arrived at between the parties. Keeping in view the above fact scenario, this Court is of the opinion that no useful purpose would be served by keeping the present petition pending, especially in the light of the compromise arrived at between the parties.
