In the present petition, on 26.12.2025, it was noticed that both the petitioners as well as private respondents No.4 and 5 are residents of the State of Rajasthan. Accordingly, the State was directed to verify the said fact/credentials of the petitioners.

Today, at the very outset, learned State counsel submits that as per report dated 18.01.2026 received from the SHO, Police Station Bahavwala, District Fazilka, both the petitioners and private respondents No.4 and 5 are still residing in the State of Rajasthan. The report dated 18.01.2026, produced by learned State counsel in Court, is taken on record. The office is directed to tag the same at the appropriate place.

In view of the above, present petition is beyond the territorial jurisdiction of this Court and, therefore, is not maintainable. Accordingly, same stands dismissed.
