The instant petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.190, dated 14.10.2025 under Sections 22/61/85 NDPS Act, registered at Police Station Beas, District Amritsar Rural.

This Court vide order dated 08.01.2026, while issuing notice of motion, granted the concession of interim bail to the petitioner, subject to his joining the investigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in pursuance to the order dated 08.01.2026, the petitioner has joined the investigation. 4.

Status report filed by way of an affidavit of Arun Sharma, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Baba Bakala Sahib, Amritsar (Rural), today in Court, is taken on record.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Sarabjit Singh, has stated that the petitioner has since joined investigation and that he is no longer required for further investigation as of now. 6.
