Petitioner - Rakesh Sachdeva, by way of present petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, seeks directions to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family from respondents No.5 & 6, by providing adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family.

On the very outset, learned State counsel appearing on advance notice and on instructions from ASI Baldev Singh, submits that already one case, i.e., FIR No.24, dated 15.02.2026, under Sections 126(2), 351(2) of BNS, 2023, registered at P.S. Division-I, Ludhiana. 3.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner, however, on the basis of information given by learned State counsel, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition.
