The instant petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 (Section 438 of Cr.P.C) has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.0172, dated 24.10.2025 under Sections 118(1), 118(2), 3(5) of BNS, registered at Police Station Rajasansi, District Amritsar Rural. 2.

This Court vide order dated 08.01.2026, while issuing notice of motion, granted the concession of interim bail to the petitioner, subject to her joining the investigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in pursuance to the order dated 08.01.2026, the petitioner has joined the investigation. 4.

Status report filed by way of an affidavit of Dharminder Kalyan, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Rajasansi, Amritsar (Rural), today in Court, is taken on record.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Tarsem Singh, has stated that the petitioner has since joined investigation and that she is no longer required for further investigation as of now. 6.
