Present petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to conduct proper enquiry into the matter and further to take appropriate legal action against respondent No.4 to 11. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the petitioner is husband of Rupinderpal Kaur, daughter of respondent No.6, who died on 30.07.2024, but after her death, her account was operated by private respondents and they withdrew the money from her account. In this regard, petitioner moved a representation dated 27.06.2025 (Annexure P-3), however, no action has been taken thereupon.

CRM-M-73672-2025 (O&M) ( 2 ) contended that on the representation of the petitioner, the authorities have conducted an inquiry and during inquiry, it reveals that respondent No.6 (mother of the deceased) is having a joint account with the deceased; there are some fixed deposits which are joint in nature; she has withdrawn the amount after the death of her daugher, and no offence has been made out from the contents of representation moved by the petitioner. 5.

Keeping in view the contention raised by learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned State counsel, particularly in view of the fact that the representation moved by the petitioner has been looked into, therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in the instant petition. Hence, the present petition is dismissed.
