***** Sandeep Moudgil, J.(Oral) The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for directing the official respondents no. 2 & 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondent nos.4 to 8.

Learned State counsel assures the Court that the representation dated 29.12.2025 (Annexure P-5) submitted by the petitioners will be decided within three days in the light of notification No.HOME-HM-40 40SECM/14/2025-2H4/63 dated 23.01.2025 issued by the Department of Home Affairs, Punjab, Government of Punjab (Home-4 Branch). In the light of above, learned counsel for the petitioners prays for withdrawal of the present petition.

Prayer is accepted.
