HONBLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE DEEPAK GUPTA This is a petition of the year 2010 whereby the petitioner-company has sought quashing of the FIR No. 1202010 registered under Sections 420/406 IPC. It is true as pointed by Mr. A K. Bhowmik, learned senior counsel that there is no specific allegation of any specific offence in the complaint made. But the complainant who is a Govt. Servant being a Development Officer has specifically alleged that the petitioner company was duping the people by taking money from them which was not entitled to under the law. I am not going into the merits of the case but this is definitely not a case where the FIR should be quashed.

Therefore, I find no merit in the criminal petition which is accordingly dismissed. Send back the LCRs forthwith.
