This is an application under Section 5 of the Limitation Act for condoning the delay of 2681 days in preferring the restoration petition of the connected appeal.

On perusal of the application, it is found that the explanations for delay so given are neither satisfactory nor convincing and the same is not in consonance with Section 5 of the Limitation Act. With the observations made above, the application stands dismissed.
