LTD Vs M/S HORIZON HI-TECH ENGICON LTD & ANR HONBLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE DEEPAK GUPTA This is an application seeking review of the order dated 19.08.2015 whereby this Court held Sri Sankar Deb, learned senior advocate of this Court as sole-Arbitrator. Earlier, the arbitration proceedings were being conducted by Sri K.L. Das, General Manager (Technical), Tripura State Electricity Corporation Ltd. He proceeded with the case for more than 3 years but did not decide the matter. He was appointed Member of the Tripura Public Service Commission and expressed his inability to continue with the arbitration.

On that date, in the presence of the learned counsel for the parties, this Court had referred the matter to the sole-Arbitrator Mr. Sankar Deb. It is now contended that the dispute relates to Augmentation of 66 KV Sub-Station of Bonduar, Udaipur and therefore, same Electrical Engineer should be appointed. In the review petition, it is also prayed that Sri Ranjan Debbarma, Additional General Manager may be appointed as sole-Arbitrator instead of Sri Sankar Deb. I am not at all convinced with the arguments advanced. Learned senior counsel of this Court is well equipped to decide the matters. Even if technical matters are involved he can take the help of any other persons. There is no error apparent on the face of the record.
