HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE MR. AKIL KURESHI _O_R_D_E_ R_ 01/10/2021 This application is filed by the original claimant. Request is for release of Rs.54,036/- with interest which was deposited by the Union of India in the appeal.

It appears that previously an amount of Rs.2,02,713/- with interest was paid over to the claimant as per the directions of the Court. However, at that time the fact that the Union of India had deposited separate sum of Rs.54,036/- in the year 2010 was lost sight of. The Registry agrees that such amount still remains with the Registry.

Under the circumstances, the said sum of Rs.54,036/- with accrued interest may be released in favour of the claimant through account payee cheque. The interlocutory application is disposed of. ( AKIL KURESHI, CJ ) Sukehendu
