HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE MR. AKIL KURESHI _O_R_D_E_ R_ 01/10/2021 This application is filed by the original claimant. Request is for release of Rs.19,400/- with interest which was deposited by the Union of India in the appeal.

It appears that previously an amount of Rs.74,991/- was paid over to the claimant as per the directions of the Court. However, at that time the fact that the Union of India had deposited separate sum of Rs.19,400/- in the year 2010 was lost sight of. The Registry agrees that such amount still remains with the Registry.

Under the circumstances, the said sum of Rs.19,400/- with accrued interest may be released in favour of the claimant through account payee cheque. If the previous deposit of Rs.74,991/- was invested and accrued any interest and if it is still with the Registry, the same may also be released.
