THE HONBLE MR. JUSTICE S.C.DAS Learned counsel, Mr. P. Dutta for the petitioner and learned Addl. P.P., Mr. R.C. Debnath for the State respondent are present.
It is submitted by learned counsel, Mr. Dutta for the petitioner that the criminal petition was filed challenging order dated 15.12.2009 passed by learned Addl. Sessions Judge, North Tripura, Kamalpur in case No. Crl. Rev. No.6/2009 whereunder the learned Addl. Sessions Judge affirmed the order of SDJM, Kamalpur dated 30.06.2009 in case No.Misc.34/2009.
It is also submitted by Mr. Dutta, learned counsel that some contravened goods were seized by police and those were handed over to the Customs. The vehicle was not handed over to Customs but subsequently the goods were handed over and an adjudication order was passed vide No. COM/CUS/ADDL./COMMR/74/2011 dated 22.06. 2011 and since there was an adjudication order by the Customs the matter has ended and learned counsel, Mr. Dutta, therefore submits that the criminal petition may be disposed of without further adjudication.
In view of the submission of learned counsel, Mr. Dutta, the criminal petition stands disposed of as not pressed.
