JUSTICE S.TALAPATRA The instant application is filed for condoning the delay of 246 days in preferring the appeal against the judgment dated 21.01.2015 passed by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Sonamura, West Tripura, in case No. S.T. 49(WT/S) of 2013 wherein, the appellantpetitioner was convicted under Section 302 of IPC and sentenced him under the said Section to suffer Life Imprisonment and to pay a fine of Rs. 50,000/- and in default to pay fine to suffer further RI for 2 years.

Heard Mr. R. Dutta, learned counsel appearing for the appellant-petitioner and Mr. A. Ghosh, learned P.P. appearing for the respondent State. We have gone through the reasons as explained in the petition and according to us the delay has been properly explained and the same is also satisfactory.
