SAHA The instant application is filed for staying the execution of the award dated 04.04.2014 passed by the learned LA Judge, West Tripura, Agartala in Misc. (LA) 173 of 2011 where under the learned LA Judge allowed compensation for the acquired land @Rs.27 lakh per kani added with 30% of solatium and 12% interest from the date of notification under Section 4 of the Act till the date of possession or award whichever is earlier. Heard Mr. H. Laskar, learned counsel appearing for the applicant as well as Mr. R. Debnath, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

As this Court has already admitted the appeal preferred against the judgment and award, it would be proper to stay the operation of the impugned judgment, as stated supra. Accordingly, it is, ordered that the impugned judgment and award dated 04.04.2014 passed in Misc.(LA) 173 of 2011 shall remain stayed till disposal of the appeal subject to deposit of 50% of the enhanced awarded amount with the Registry of this Court within 3 (three) months from today.
