This is a petition filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act for condoning the delay of 226 days in preferring the connected appeal against the judgment and order dated 27.05.2014 passed by the Addl. Sessions Judge, North Tripura, Dharmanagar in ST 04(NT/D)/2013 whereby the appellant has been convicted under Section 304 Part II of the IPC and sentenced to suffer 7 years RI with fine of Rs.5,000/- and in default of payment of fine to suffer SI for one year.

Having considered the causes assigned in this petition and also keeping the statement of Mr. A. Ghosh, learned PP appearing for the State, this Court finds the causes constitute sufficient cause for condoning the delay and accordingly the prayer for condonation stands allowed.
