The grievance of the petitioner is that he is a Diploma Engineer of 1990 and he was appointed as a Jr. Engineer Grade-I in the same year i.e. in 1990. Thereafter he was promoted to the post of Asstt. Engineer on ad-hoc basis from the post of Jr. Engineer Grade-I by order dated 19.08.2000. His grievance is that till today he has not been regularized in the post of Asstt. Engineer. The petitioner submitted a representation to the Principal Secretary, Public Works Department, Govt. of Tripura on 21.01.2015 but has not received any response from the respondent in spite of his representation. It is submitted by Mr. Nama that since the respondent did not give any response to the representation made by the petitioner, the present writ petition is filed.
With the consent of learned counsel of both sides, the matter is taken up for disposal at the motion stage itself and it is ordered that the respondent shall dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 21.01.2015 within 45 days from today with a reasoned order and shall communicate the decision to the petitioner and the petitioner will be at liberty to approach this Court if he feels dissatisfied with the disposal of the representation.
With this observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. The petitioner is to submit a copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition to the respondent within 15 days from today. Download Date: 8-05-2017 16:05 1/1
