The reasons given in the application are that the file was moving from one desk in insurance company to the other desk. This explanation by itself is not totally satisfactory because the insurance company is aware about the total limitation and must ensure that steps are taken within reasonable time.

However, in the larger interest, the delay is condoned subject to payment of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five thousand) as costs. Costs to be paid to the Tripura Bar Council within a period of 4(four) weeks from today.
