The State Of Tripura And ORS v. Joydeep Roy Barman
Case No :CM Appl.(WP) 0000126/2015 Party Name : THE STATE OF TRIPURA & ORS Vs JOYDEEP ROY BARMAN THE HONBLE MR JUSTICE U. B. SAHA The instant application is filed by Sri Shyam Sankar Reang, Sub-Inspector CID, Tripura Police, Investigating Officer of West Agartala PS Case No. 102 of 2010 for allowing him further 3 (three) months time to complete the investigation of the aforesaid police case. Mr. TD Majumder, learned Government Advocate while urging for 3 (three) months time submits that though this Court at the time of disposal of the writ petition allowed 2 (two) months for completing the investigation and thereafter on 30.01.2015 again allowed 3(three) months but the investigation could not be completed within that time and, thus, another 3 (three) months may be granted for completing the investigation. Mr. SM Chakraborty, learned senior counsel seriously objected the prayer as the Investigating Officer of the case is not at all serious for completing the investigation within the stipulated period granted by this Court.
This Court has gone through the contentions made in the petition. According to this Court the Investigating Officer of the case is not taking the order of this Court seriously. However, as a last opportunity further 2 (two) months is granted for completing the investigation. It is made clear that no further time will be granted. In view of the above, the instant CM application is disposed of. Download Date: 8-05-2017 16:05 1/1
