In my view, the petitioner is not entitled to anticipatory bail not only on account of the offence which he has committed but also on account of the fact that though the case has reached the stage of filing of the charge-sheet, the petitioner has managed to evade arrest till now and has not joined the investigation till date. Therefore, the petition is rejected.
