By filing this writ petition, the petitioner challenged the order dated 23.02.2015 (Annexure P/1 to the writ petition) by which the petitioner has been transferred from the Office of the Scientific Officer, Department of Science, Technology & Environment, Agartala, West Tripura to the Office of the Scientific Officer, Department of Science, Technology & Environment, Ambassa, Dhalai.

It is contended by learned counsel Mr. Pal that the impugned order dated 23.02.2015 cannot be termed as an order issued in the public interest and secondly that the petitioner's wife is seriously ill and that representations have been made and those representations have not been considered.

After hearing learned counsel of both side, I am of the opinion that the writ petition may be disposed of at the motion stage itself with a direction to the respondents to consider the representations made by the petitioner with a human touch assigning reasons and to dispose the representations at the earliest.
