This is a petition under Section 5 of the Limitation Act for condoning the delay of 145 days in preferring the revision petition under Section 397 read with Section 401 of the Cr.P.C. against the judgment and order dated 07.06.2014 delivered in Criminal Appeal No.22(2) of 2014.

Mr. Bhattacharjee, learned counsel has submitted that the causes for such delay have been ascribed in paragraphs No.2, 3 and 4 and the delay as occurred is not for any laches of the petitioner.

Mr. Ghosh, learned PP even though submits that the explanations are so casual in nature but having regard to the ends of justice he does not oppose such prayer. Accordingly, this petition for condoning the delay stands allowed and disposed of. The petitioner is granted liberty to present the criminal revision petition. Download Date: 8-05-2017 16:05 1/1
