Case No :AB 0000047/2015 Party Name : RANJIT BISWAS Vs THE STATE OF TRIPURA HONBLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE DEEPAK GUPTA Vide order dated 19.06.2015 the victim girl was ordered to be kept in the Protective Home for Girls run by the Directorate of Social Welfare & Education, Abhoynagar, Agartala. A communication has been received from the Chairperson of the Child Welfare Committee, West Tripura District to the effect that the parents have applied to the Child Welfare Committee to take the child to their home. Earlier a report was received from the Superintendent of the Home that the victim is not at all cooperating with the authorities of the home and though she expressed her willingness to go home but the parents refused to take her back. Now, it is stated that the parents are willing to take the victim back.

It is, therefore, ordered that in case, the parents are willing to take the victim back then the Chairperson of the Child Welfare Committee in her presents shall ensure that the victim is handed over to the parents.

Copy of this order be sent to Dr. Bikash Roy, Chairperson, Child Welfare Committee as well as to the Superintendent of the Home, State Children Home for Girls Unit-I, Abhoynagar, Agartala.
