Case No :CMAppl(FA) 0000268/2015 Party Name : BIDHAN DEBNTH @ RIDHAN DEBNATH Vs SWAPAN BAL AND 2 ORS HONBLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE DEEPAK GUPTA By means of this application, the petitioner has made two prayers. His first prayer is that his name is Ridhan Debnath @ Ridan @ Bidhan and he is known by all the three names. However, his second prayer is that the money which has been awarded be released in his favour.

As far as the first prayer is concerned, the claimant even in the claim petition had alleged that he is Bidhan Debnath @ Ridan but now documents have been shown that at some places the spelling of Ridan is given as Ridhan. Thereafter, a prayer has been made that the amount of compensation be released in favour of the claimant by remitting it to his bank account details whereof have been submitted along with the application. Keeping in view the allegations made, the same is allowed and it is held that Ridan Debnath is also known as Ridhan Debnath.

The amount of compensation which has been deposited be released in his favour by remitting it to his bank account details whereof along with photocopy of the first page of the passbook be submitted in the Registry of this Court within 2 (two) weeks from today. The application is accordingly disposed of.
