Roy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the respondent-Union of India, has deposited a sum of `4,00,000 in terms of the judgment and order dated 25.08.2014 delivered in W.P.(C) No.86 of 2008. By this application, the petitioner has sought for necessary order so that he can withdraw the amount that has been deposited in the Registry by the respondent-Union of India. Ms. L. Sarkar, learned counsel appearing on instruction of Mr. A. Roy Barman, learned Central Government Counsel, has fairly submitted that the Union of India has no objection if the money is released in favour of the petitioner. In view of this, the Registry is directed to release the amount of `4,00,000 (rupees four lac.) in favour of the petitioner, on proper identification. Accordingly, this petition stands disposed of.
