Previously under an order dated 29.09.2015, one Sri Ratan Kr. Sarkar, Additional Chief Engineer, PWD (WR) was appointed as a sole arbitrator. The sole arbitrator has under a letter dated 14.10.2020 written to the Registrar General, High Court of Tripura has shown his inability to continue the arbitration proceedings on account of his ill health. The need therefore has arisen to appoint a fresh arbitrator. Considering the facts on record, I request Sri Sri Subhas Sikdar, retired District Judge of the Tripura to act as a sole arbitrator. Note disposed of accordingly.
